Mighty Manifestations

The spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12 are not given to applaud ourselves, or polish our church image, but to endorse the preaching of the Gospel. The Holy Spirit manifests His gifts and power only to achieve the purposes of God. We need these gifts so that we can serve and edify the Church, reach out to unbelievers, and strengthen our faith.
